My resolution to make a weekly sketch to music was on my mind as I approached my daughter's room; it was filled with soft music coming from the radio station on her phone. The mood was relaxed and peaceful, something I wanted to capture while sketching. I grabbed my sketchbook and propped, Pudgy, a small beanbag chicken, into a pose on her bed. While she packed for her trip to London, I sketched. The beauty of a sketchbook is that you can take it anywhere and capture a picture journal of moments in time.
The video is brief and gives insight into the type of music that inspired the sketch (David Crowder is playing in the video). A photo of Pudgy is included, though the cute little creature is in London now.

Check back again next week for more sketch ideas.
