This week I decided to continue the study of my orchid that I posted in Sketchbook #5. It has a couple of blossoms now, so it will be more interesting to sketch. I'm writing this before I've started; my goal is to loosen up and create energetic marks as I sketch. To continue in this trajectory, I will sketch to the music of the 60's again.
Sketchbook exercise: Create a second sketch of something that you have done before. Consider different lighting or choose something that has changed, like my orchid. If you want some inspiration, look at the haystacks of Claude Monet found on Google Images.
