This week I decided to look out my window at the architectural structures around me for the visual piece of my sketchbook . I found this article online about Architecture and the lost art of drawing . Sketchbook Exercise: Find a comfortable place to sit outside and sketch the structures around you. If the weather isn't conducive to sketching outside, then take a photo and sketch inside. My sketchbook exercises have been incorporating music into the process. I choose the music of the 1960's to influence the "mood" of the sketch.
